The Regional District of Central Kootenay Agriculture Plan establishes a series of recommendations deigned to help the region achieve three core goals: 1) identify priority actions to support the viability of farming in the District; 2) ensure that the agricultural capability of the area is realized; and 3) create a secure food supply for the region. The recommendations address key agricultural issues identified through an extensive public consultation process and investigation of relevant statistical data.
