Three measures of economic impact are assessed in this report: 1) Average ancillary spending per housing transaction (by region); 2) Annual average spin-off benefits based on all MLS® sales and purchases over the past three years; and 3) Annual average direct and indirect employment by sector generated through all MLS® sales and purchases over the past three years. This report presents a review of these national and provincial estimates. The methodology used in its preparation is presented in the Appendix.
