This report describes findings from Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) surveys conducted at 40 businesses in the mining and metallurgical sector between 2012 and 2015. BRE is an actionoriented and community-based approach to business and economic development. It promotes job growth by helping communities and business sectors to learn about concerns of, as well as opportunities for, local businesses, and to set priorities for projects to address those needs.
